We’re excited to announce that Hapa Izakaya won 1st place in the 3rd Annual Ocean Wise Seafood Chowder Chow Down held at the Vancouver Aquarium on November 24. We won 1st place for both People’s Choice and Judges Choice for Best Sustainable Seafood Chowder on the West Coast. It was our Halibut Dashi Chowder that did the trick. Twelve other BC chefs competed for the title.
