Hapa Izakaya went to down to Kitsilano beach to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, a viral video campaign raising money and awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (aka Lou Gehrig’s disease). The challenge is to dump a bucket of ice water on your head and then challenge someone else to do the same or donate to the cause. As of Monday, the campaign has raised more than $13 million for the ALS Association. If you would like to give towards this cause, please click here.
