As a proud sponsor the Japan Fair Association of Vancouver’s Sakura Days Fair and in celebration  of The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival, Hapa has created new spring inspired dishes. Try Coal Harbour‘s creamy Coconut Green Curry served with Japanese naan bread, Yaletown‘s fresh Sunchoke Salad, Kitsilano‘s vegetarian-friendly Bagna Cáuda (assorted seasonal vegetables with eggplant dipping sauce), West End‘s hearty Gyu-Katsu Sandwich (angus beef cutlet, cabbage, tartar sauce between steamed buns) or Toronto’s fried Fanny Bay oysters with home made truffle chips. See the new spring fresh sheets here.

The Sakura (cherry blossom) has long been a traditional icon in Japanese culture and is a symbol of spring.
